A general protection fault (GPF) in the x86 instruction set architectures (ISAs) is a fault (a type of interrupt) initiated by ISA-defined protection mechanisms in response to an access violation caused by some running code, either in the kernel or a user program.
Diagnostic Fault Codes. The QSC8.3 control system can show and record. operation anomalies that present themselves as fault. All fault codes recorded will be either active (fault code is. currently active on the engine) or inactive (fault code was. active at some time, but at the moment is not active).
